OTB is tailor made for current markets as consumers return to leisure activities, buying new clothes and holidays and Spain, which is a key OTB destination, has just reopened. Yet the shares trade on a prospective PE of 10.4, less than half its pre-Covid multiple. In H1, which was reported this month, it said things were obviously disrupted by Covid; actual sales were £51.9m, down 17% on FY19. But for the first time OTB provided some data on bookings and said that on this basis, ‘sales’ (whether travelled or not) were £386m, up 6% on FY19 levels.
