OTB’s shares picked up speed after saying that although football and the three-month heatwave had suppressed holiday demand, it had been able to mitigate the effect by reducing advertising spend and results will still be in-line with expectations (Peel Hunt forecasts £34m pretax profit for eps of 21p).At the same time, OTB has also made a small bolt on acquisition. It is buying Classic Collection for £20m (£14.6m cash and 607,747 new shares upfront with the remainder deferred for 12 months).
