IG Design has announced the acquisition of NYSE listed CSS together with a placing of 7.88m new shares at 694p to raise £120m. Of the funds raised, £89.7m will acquire CSS on a debt-free basis. After deal costs, it leaves £30m for future acquisitions.CSS is a manufacturer of craft, seasonal and gift products. Core products include sewing patterns, ribbons, trims, buttons, needle arts, bows, bags and wrap, as well as stationery, baby gift items, and party and entertaining products.
