IG has been beating forecasts with some regularity and once again it has said it expects profit and eps to come in “substantially ahead” of expectations for the year ended March. In particular, America (sales were up 36% in H1) has had a bumper H2. Lang has bedded in well and the business has successfully enlarged its product offering and customer base. Other geographies are set fair and group sales will now break the £300m mark.Cash generation is well ahead of previously expected levels with the target of average annual leverage of less than 2.5x EBITDA being hit two years ahead of plan.
