Ultimate Products - Excellent company in a tough market

Ultimate Products might not be a household name, but the brands it owns and its licenses are everywhere: Beldray, Kleeneze, Salter, Russell Hobbs, Intempo. They fill the shelves of discounters like B&M and Action, and appear in Tesco, Primark and Sainsbury’s. This is not glamorous stuff - cordless vacuums, kettles, Bluetooth speakers, frying pans etc - but it’s functional, smartly designed and priced for the average household. Back in March 2019, when I last wrote a main profile on the shares at 67p, Ultimate’s share price was marooned (at the time known as UP Global Sourcing) but they went on to perform brilliantly.
