Bestselling fantasy author Sarah J. Maas has announced that two new books in her A Court of Thorns and Roses series will be published on 27 October 2026 and 12 January 2027, both falling in FY27 (year-end February). Only one title had been expected, so this update materially increases Bloomsbury’s outlook. In the light of that, Berenberg’s forecast for FY26 is for PBT of £44.8m/EPS 42.3p and it has raised its pretax profit estimates for FY27 by 13% to £49.3m/EPS 44.8p.  On these revised numbers, Bloomsbury trades on an FY27 PE ratio of 12.4, below its 15-year historical average of 14x.
