GB has announced the acquisition of UK-based Transactis, which delivers anti-fraud services in the UK. Initial consideration is £5.0m, made up of £4.5m cash and £0.5m in shares. A further £1m is contingent on future performance.Transactis accesses data derived from a broad range of retailers on c.40 million consumers, helping its clients understand an individual’s propensity to buy as well as identifying potential patterns of fraud. This data is combined with its own proprietary software and analytics to offer solutions to its customers, which include Nationwide Building Society, Betfair, HMRC and Shop Direct Group.
