Although the annexation of Crimea has expected to see Ukraine sales halve and also result in a reduction in Russian revenues (driven by the fall in overseas exhibitors and a decline in domestic demand) Q4 has proved to be better than expected. Results for the year to end September are now expected to be ahead of expectations, with sales of £174m down from £193m (like-for-like revenues on a constant currency basis were +6%).However, a lower level of forward bookings (34% of market consensus against 39% last year) means a further decline in sales to £155m is on the cards for the current year, with EU-US sanctions and currency headwinds continuing to bite.Peel Hunt has inched its forecast up by £2m ...
