GB has reported results which were in line with its May trading update, with the number of customers for its electronic age and ID verification product, URU, showing strong growth. Meanwhile, there was also an improved performance from its legacy data integrity and data solutions businesses. Overall, sales were up 14% to £12.8m. Pretax loss was £0.27m versus earlier expectations of a £0.4m profit as sales headcount was increased to take advantage of the rapidly expanding market in 2007. Net cash at the period end was £6.7m.
