The shares are off sharply after the cessation of bid talks. At the same time, GB also put out its H1 trading update and said it expects to report H1 sales of £133.8m, +22.5% including contributions from its recently acquired Acuant and Cloudcheck businesses. Organic growth is +3.7%, which was below the 12-14% FY guidance range due to the Identity division seeing crypto volume declines versus last year. Here GB earns revenues from cryptocurrency platforms like Coinbase as they verify new users (predominantly) as well as perform reverifications.
