At the AGM, OTB said that as a result of lockdowns and reductions in winter flying programmes, consumer demand for forward holidays was weak with UK traffic, bookings and spend on online marketing activity across the first four months of the financial year down 73%, 83% and 85%, respectively. As SCSW has previously noted, OTB has an asset light, no inventory risk model and has no commitments on hotel rooms and airplane seats. These numbers show it has virtually ceased its marketing activity to reduce monthly burn to £2m assuming no revenue.
