During the month I met Paul Scott who took over as CEO in October. Scott is an old Renew hand, having previously been running its nuclear services business for 14 years and its larger engineering services side (83% of the business) for the last four so he is clearly well versed in the group’s operations. He has sat on the main board for the last two years. Plus ça change as they say.Renew also reported full year results showing sales up 1% to £525m. Pretax profit was up 14% to £22.3m with eps up 5% to 27.4p.
