Future has acquired Washington-based SmartBrief, a publisher of business information, combining technology and editorial expertise to deliver relevant industry news curated from 1,500 sources. SmartBrief operates in partnership with trade associations, professional societies, charities and corporations across several verticals including business, education, finance, health care, advertising, retail and food & travel. The acquisition adds automated email marketing technology to Future’s already strong proprietary stack.
