Following last month’s strong trading update, Numis has increased its estimates in both FY20 and FY21 with adjusted eps increased to 66.6p/81.1p from 62.5p/76p. Separately, Future also announced the acquisition of CinemaBlend for an undisclosed amount. Its website, Cinemablend.com, provides a platform for enthusiasts and casual fans to discover and discuss films and TV shows, both on streaming services (such as Netflix) and on linear TV (such as HBO). With an audience of 19.4m monthly unique visitors over the first six months of 2020, +118% year-on-year, the brand expands Future’s reach of 46m online users in its TV & Film and Games & Entertainment verticals.
