Tipped at 352p in December 2017, Future’s full year results sent them over £15 at one point. Sales were up 70% to £221m, with Media (70% of sales) the swing factor. Pretax profit was up 189% to £50.3m and eps increased 92% to 46.4p on a low tax charge due to utilisation of past US tax losses (US is 54% of sales now and 67% of Media revenues). Media grew sales 134% to £154.9m, driven by the acquisition of Purch as well as 32% year-on-year organic growth in monetising users via e-commerce and digital advertising across previously owned titles.
