Having bought Eisenbach (eyewear), Norville (lens maker), Ego (licenced eyewear) and BoDe (sunglasses) since its IPO in 2020, growing pains saw the shares drop off a cliff last year but in January, with the shares at just 42p, a tenth of the 400p high in October ‘21, I felt it was time to alight on them as things didn't look all that bad to me. I made the shares a NAP and have yet to write fully as management have been in hiding for most of the past few months fixing things. As the FY22 results reported last month show, the number of frames sold increased from 10.4m to 10.7m. Sales increased by 1% to US$248.6m (8.5% constant currency) and 2.5% organic.
