Ahead of reporting in July, Supreme said it expects to report sales of £130m and pretax profit of at least £21m for the year to end March. Within the mix, the Vaping side is going like a train with sales up 10% driven by rollout of the product across Morrisons stores. With gross margins up further to c.45%, this is clearly a very good space. Other key manufactured products within Sports Nutrition have also grown sales by 100% but there has been a temporary setback from the rising price for whey powder (up from £4/kg when it entered the space to £12/kg now, most of which arose in the final quarter of the year).
