DotDigital (DOTD; 46.5p) provides a cloud-based marketing automation platform called Engagement Cloud. In simple terms, it helps businesses automatically send the right message - whether email, SMS, WhatsApp or push notifications - to the right customer at the right time. For instance, it pulls in data from a company’s website, orders, browsing history and CRM system, and then uses that information to create personalised campaigns such as “abandoned basket” reminders, special offers based on past purchases, or re-engagement messages for lapsed customers.
