Amcomri has flogged off Premier Limpet to a trade buyer for a tidy £10.1m. As a sticky tape maker, Premier Limpet was always a slightly odd bedfellow to the rest of the group’s engineering businesses. Amcomri had picked it up back in 2021 for £250,000 since when the business has recovered to doing £1.4m EBITDA. But a week later the air gap started to be filled with the acquisition of specialist engineering business Northwest Transport Supplies for an initial £3m and up to £1m based on future performance. NTS specialises in the repair and overhaul of safety critical electro-mechanical units, HVAC and pneumatic control equipment for rail rolling stock.
