Just two months after unveiling a new five-year plan to double revenue - before even completing his previous one - CEO Adam Holland is starting to look a bit like Icarus; like the mythical figure who flew too close to the sun, Holland is now feeling the heat. The glare of US tariff uncertainty has melted some of that early optimism. In North America, customers are deferring capital investment decisions, leading to a noticeable slowdown in Q2 order intakes. As a result, the H1 closing order book has dropped to £90m, down from £118.5m at the start of the year. In response, Holland is consolidating US operations. The 5,000m² Cleveland facility is being shuttered, with production moved to the 4,500m² Boston site acquired in last year ...
