K3 keeps on getting upgraded. This month it placed 2.9m shares to raise £10m and fund the acquisition of Knight Corporate Finance, a sector-specific corporate finance boutique advising clients in the technology and telecoms sector, and Knight R&D, which provides recurring, contracted revenues over a three-year cycle. Together the deals add EBITDA of c.£2.8m, with margins of 45% in the CF business and 63% in the R&D business. Finncap has upgraded eps by 15% to 19.8p for the year to end May with 24.3p pencilled in for next year.
