THG - Sells a division nobody knew it had for £103m

THG has sold a business few even realised that it had for £103m - c20% of its market cap. As part of its strategy to simplify its business and pay down debt, it has sold Claremont Ingredients, a flavour manufacturing and development lab for sports nutrition, to flavour specialist Nactarome. The business had been bought in 2020 for £52m. Operationally, Claremont step-changed Myprotein's flavour capabilities and this key relationship will be protected through a long-term supply contract.
