GFRD chalked up its fifth consecutive year of improvement. For the year to 30 June, revenue rose 6% to £1.88bn, underpinned by strong momentum in both Building and Infrastructure. The latter led the charge with an 11% uplift, driven by highways projects and the successful run-off of AMP7 in water. Building, meanwhile, reinforced its presence across education, defence, custodial and health. Since January, CEO Bill Hocking has stacked the order book with a string of heavyweight wins. Frameworks include the £1bn NEPO in Highways, Yorkshire Water’s £850m Non-Infrastructure Works and the £814m Pagabo FM Framework.
