For most of its 40-year history, Concurrent has built ruggedised single board computers (SBCs) and plug-in cards for the defence industry. Its circuit boards hum quietly within some of the most advanced defence systems - including armoured vehicles, aerospace radar stations and surveillance aircraft - and are built to survive the most harsh and extreme environments, such as blast waves, desert heat or the thin air above the clouds. But the share price momentum is not a story about war, or the flood of money pouring into defence budgets amid rising geopolitical tension.
