On reflection, last month’s buy on Warpaint was beautifully timed. The first trading day after the issue landed saw the shares open at 180p but with Schroders then mopping up an overhang a few days later, taking its holding to 10%, they rebounded to 250p. FY25 sales are now guided to be c.£105m with EBITDA at c.£22m, which compares to £102m and £25m last year. However this includes £12m sales and £0.8m profit from Brand Architekts for its 10 months of ownership (strip that out and sales are down 9% like-for-like).
