Having returned 486p per share through a special dividend last June - returning all of my 299p buy price in August ‘20 and a bit more! - Playtech continues to be a gift that keeps on giving. An unscheduled trading update highlighted better-than-expected performance in the US and Mexico. The key income sources are now dividends from a 30.8% stake in Cali Interactive, the US holding company for the Caliplay sports-betting business in Mexico, as well as multiple stakes in other operators, including a single-digit percentage of Hard Rock Digital.
