GB has acquired Worcester-based PCA Predict for £73.8m, which comes with £10.4m cash. To fund the deal, it has placed 17.1m shares at 340p.PCA is the UK market leader for online address autofill. Around 9,000 SMEs use it to accurately register customers (licence typically £25,000). They might only require a part of the address for the database to be populated with details. So it does the same basic job as GBG Loquate, which sells its data to channel customers including IBM, Pitney Bowes and Experian US.PCA had an adjusted operating profit of £4.5m on sales of £13.6m in the year to end February so looks mouthwateringly profitable.
