Things are looking up. Despite Q4 net outflows of £836m and a 9% drop in AUM to £19.6bn due to March’s geopolitical “risk-off” environment, Liontrust is showing strong signs of recovery for the year started 1 April. By mid-April, AUM rebounded 6% to £20.8bn. Liontrust also secured two institutional mandates totalling £500m across Sustainable and Cashflow Solution strategies. It is also, of course, due to complete on River Global’s asset management business, which will add c£2.7bn AUM and brightens the picture further. Panmure forecasts EPS of 37.9p in the year started on 1 April with a full year inclusion from River Global delivering EPS of 55.8p next year. Buy. ...
