Last month I said BBSN should be trading at 150p already, and I wasn’t too surprised to see the company set this as a hurdle for a new LTIP. Under the plan, Oli and Theo Green benefit if the share price rises from 80p (when it was announced) to >150p. Above that level, they share 12% of the additional value created. For example, at 150p, the increase in shareholder value is £78.6m so the LTIP pool receives £6.6m (about 12% of the qualifying value) and Oli and Theo each get £3.3m. The AGM was also told the year had started well. Cavendish nudged its EPS forecast up from 8p to 8.1p. Once over 100p, the moves will become bigger and it’s also eligible for inclusion in the MCSI.
