When I wrote on Manolete in August, I said buy on a two day close over 430p as the shares had been a weak market in the aftermath of a bear raid. The price never got there so I did not initiate coverage.During the month I spoke to chief executive Steven Conklin who I found in good cheer. Revenue grew 153% to £19m with pretax profit and eps both up 49% to £6.4m and 11.8p, respectively.  Manolete’s mainstay is pursuing directors for wrongful trading and Conklin notes that at least 1m small firms could fail during the pandemic providing a source of work.
