When I made my cautious noises in the June issue update (saying I was frustrated that Altitude was turning to advertising income rather than transactional income), chairman Peter Hallett wrote to me to say that my comments were “off beam.” Naturally I assumed Altitude must have an ace up its sleeve but this month’s update was poor. After buying Aimpro in January, the first revenue quarter, Q2, generated US$1.3m of new revenue (which is recurring) from a zero start.
