Future - Barclays sets 990p share price target

Completing the trio of publishers to update the market this month (see Bloomsbury and Wilmington), Future’s AGM was told performance has been broadly on track this year, with an improvement in growth being seen since the end of Q4. Within the mix, price comparison site GoCompare and B2B has been faring very well, whist digital ads / e-com affiliates are worse, although the core “Hero” brands are outperforming. Broker Barclays expects a negative organic revenue growth in H1 but then “positive in H2 as comps look pretty easy.” The PE of 4.7 looks dirt cheap. Hopefully H1 on 16 May will reignite the shares; Barclays sets a 990p share price target. ...
