Ahead of results in March, Alpha FX confirmed FY19 ended with a bang with revenues exceeding £35m (vs forecast £33.6m) and a pretax profit margin also ahead of expectations despite the costs associated with a larger new head office in Paddington and a higher staff count. Front office headcount grew from 51 to 74, whilst back office went from 31 to 50.The core corporate and institutional divisions, across both UK and European markets, performed well with client numbers up 34% to 648 and growth in the revenue-per-client +10% to £53k.
