G4M has issued a Q3 update to 31 December, with sales up 30% to £52.2m (Europe +51% to £29.2m and UK +10% to £23m). Demand for products that can be played at home has been strong (e.g. guitars, keyboards, home recording equipment) and it has clearly benefited from the demise of two European rivals a year ago.The strong top line growth in its peak trading period and margin outperformance (hike in gross margin to 29.9% from 28.6% in H1) drives a 30% upgrade to eps forecasts to 44.8p. Next year, however, trading is expected to normalise and Singer forecasts eps of 20p. Tipped at 245p in January last year, it’s time to lock in at least half of the massive profits.  ...
